Melody is the protagonist of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. She is Ariel's and Eric's 12-year-old daughter and King Triton's and Queen Athena's granddaughter. She has long black hair styled in a ponytail and a red tail with pink fins when she's a mermaid. She is named after Ariel's love of singing. She is voiced by Tara Strong.

Morgana (voiced by Pat Carrol) is a villainess who first appeared in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. She is the sister of the now-deceased, Ursula. She, unlike her sister, was perhaps was the most deadliest villain in the series due to the fact that she wants revenge and when she had the trident, she controlled all the sea creatures.
